About Cromer Driving Centre
Cromer Driving Centre was first established in 1963 by Michael Davies – a local instructor – who, over the years, formed a relationship with the local community, building a reputation in the Cromer area.
In the summer of 2006 Cromer Driving Centre joined forces with 17 Plus Driving Tuition - bringing together two local businesses with over 65 years experience in the driver training industry. Together they form the largest independent driving school in Norfolk.
Conscious of keeping the local ethos, Cromer Driving Centre instructors live and work in North Norfolk; which ensures they have good local knowledge of the area and understanding of the needs of their students – offering lessons in the local vicinity as well as in the city of Norwich, where the main test centre is based.
All Cromer Driving Centre and 17 Plus instructors – male & female – are fully qualified and DSA approved. They are governed by the 17 Plus Code of Practice and have been CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) checked for your peace of mind and safety.
The fleet of modern dual controlled cars are of varying makes & models, light and easy to drive, maintained to the highest standard and are fully comprehensively insured. In addition, you will be taught in a non-smoking environment and on a one-to-one basis with no car sharing or stops en-route.
